BlackMarketRC ShaftSquatch Chassis – Classic Retro Looks, Modern Performance
The ShaftSquatch is BlackMarketRC’s first production retro monster truck chassis, built around the proven Axial SMT10 transmission and tough AR60 axles. Inspired by the king of all 1:1 monster trucks, this chassis delivers old-school style with modern performance and durability.
Constructed from .250" thick 6061 aluminum, the main frame rails are built to take a beating while adding scale-accurate weight and realism. The chassis includes a dedicated electronics tray and battery mount, both with cutouts to accommodate scale details like a 3D printed motor.
With multiple shock mounts (supports up to five shocks), as well as mounting points for track bars and shackles, this platform is ready for serious retro performance. The chassis is designed for use with aftermarket scale leaf spring packs, available from RC4WD and other hobby retailers.
