The ShaftSquatch Stage2 chassis is the next evolution of our original Axial-based retro monster truck platform—taking inspiration from the era when 1:1 trucks got beefier, heavier, and purpose-built for performance.
This updated design features straight frame rails precision-machined from 1/4" thick 6061 aluminum, complete with integrated mounts for leaf springs and trailing arms. It's a solid foundation designed to replicate the scale feel and handling of real retro monster trucks.
Still built around the proven Axial SMT10 transmission and AR60 axles, the Stage2 delivers both durability and realism. The included electronics tray and battery mount feature cutouts for adding scale details like a 3D printed motor, and multiple shock mounting points let you dial in the setup you want.
